Hi guys.

Right problem is I think I have the seat raising blocks on my car, but really do not wish to dismantle both seats in case I am wrong.

So on a non-raised seat is there 4 alloy blocks between the seat frame and the actual seat.

Also first one in the UK to confirm this can win the seat raising blocks if I can remove them.

Regards
Steven

Look under the seat and in ea corner will be a shiny metal about 1 in wide by 4 in long. If they are there you have the seat risers.

I am short at 5 ft 7in and have them on one of my cars.

Prior to getting in the car make sure no one is sitting in the drivers seat. There might be one riser there also.

So out of curiosity, where can these blocks be found?

I'll need a set for my sons when they start driving.

You can have mine for the price of postage, my wife and I are both over six feet tall, so I have no need for them.

Seeing as you're both over 6 feet ( as am I ) has it made a noticable difference. At the moment I find the wheel quite low, not unfortably but enough to annoy.

Also anyone know if recaro's will bolt straight to the frames? I have a £1000 seat that my brother will allow me to fit. Before anyone says it I know porsche's seats are recaros. Just this seat is god of all road seats. Good enough he took out the driver seat in his lancia for it, that was all recaro interior just not like the seat!

Its tight without them, tighther with them. Taking them out isn't dramatic, you need to swap the steering wheel if you really find it annoying, I've just gotten used to it over the years.

That was one of the comments in Car and Driver when the car first came out; that the steerring wheel was too low. That and the road noise was too high.

I switched to a 944 4-spoke steering wheel which really helped. It's about 1" smaller in diameter, IIRC.

I have a MOMO Corsa on my car and love it. I don't hit my thigh getting in or out. I think it is a 380MM.
I have spacers under the seat also.
