I have a 1978 924, manual transmission, and the other day my radiator sprung a leak. I've got some stop-leak in it now, but I don't know how long that'll last, and the temperature is still at or a bit above the 3/4 hash on my temp gauge, a bit too high for comfort and certainly too high for optimal operation...
so that leads me to getting a new radiator, right? WELL, seems like they can't be found. I talked to my local shop that is usually really helpful, and they said for the life of them they couldn't find one, and that they'd have to take it out and send it to get overhauled.
anyone know of where to get one, or is overhaul the best choice? |

I have had one of the Performance Products radiators in my 81 924 for about 8 years now. It seems to work as advertised, and I can see the low temperature on the gauge in the car.
If you can't find a decent radiator, I can sell you my original one, which was in perfect condition when I removed it from the car back in 98 to install the PP radiator. |
