all the 4 bolt stuff is solid discs, no vented stuff, upgrading to the 5 bolt equip is a massive upgrade. _________________ 3 928s, |

A possibility to keep 4 bolts, is to upgrade braking system with vented disk and calipers of a Peugeot 205 GTi ( easy to found for you in UK ) but there is a lot of works cause it's nearly bolt-on... |

You should be talking to the guys in the Colway Tires series, they all run with that 4-bolt gear... _________________ Vaughan Scott

Best and easiest option to upgrade is 931 gear and Poterfield pads. These work well from cold and will not fade. The downside is that they need to be run in, which requires a brake bleed afterwards.

Stay away from the greenstuff pads, they arent called "green shit" for no reason. For my trackdaycar i use Motul RBF600 brake fluid. Almost as good as the top of the class Castrol SRF but a lot cheaper. Together with Hawk HP plus brakepads.
Untill now i have used the standard at the rear. This setup worked fine when driving 20 min stints at the track. It worked fine even at 1h stints. But after that trackday (lots of hours on the track) the conpund at the rear wered of totally. So gave the brakeshoes to a brake shop. And they put on a racier compund. Will be intressting to se how it will work out on long stints.
I can add that i drive on semi-racing tires that add a lot of extra stress to the brakes. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo
