I've got an '86 924S and I'd realy like to know what's the method of removing the rear window spoiler.

I've considered just tearing it off and spending a good few hours of picking peices of rubber from the body and window, but would I be very foolish in doing so??

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated, I'm after that early 924 profile for my late version.

Downforce, what's that?

You are better off trading a spoiler hatch for the non spoiler hatch. After you remove the rubber you find holes that you cannot fill. For instance the glass at the bottom of the hatch at the rim line is usually seperated and has to be filled in. It will crack eventually.

Do yourself a favor and trade with someone.

Dude, if you're in Australia I'll trade ya! I've been thinking about putting a spoiler on my '81 model!

Gavin.
