Okay Folks,

The guys on the East coast are getting together to show off their toys to each other and tell a lot of lies. We need to plan something like this too. Anybody got any suggestions?

But I just checked a map and I'm about 300 miles northwest of you.

I live in Portland. A logical place would be in Northern California, say the Redwoods. Possibly Crater Lake. Sounds like fun. Any Northwest people want to get together somewhat closer?

We are talking about a get together, but this is wintertime for much of the West. We should bring this up for dicussion again in spring or early summer. It would be good to get together and trade experiences and hints. Since I have been rading this board I no longer feel like tho 924 nut out here, but it would be good to meet others in person.

I would be very interested in a west coast meet sometime in the summer. Sometime in July or August would be best, and I would be much more interested in Northern California than Vegas (that is further than I would want to drive). I could handle a 1 day drive.

Some one on this board is from Toledo WA, I am from Portland, another from Eugene, and another Oregon person. How about a trip up the Columbia Gorge. We could meet at Bonneville Dam.

Whether or not it matters but, I looked at the membership list. Of those who filled out where they are from there are:
16 from CA (possibly 1

924 fan: your point is well taken. I think the problem is time and distance. It is quite a ways to Northern CA from here, longer from Washington. I was thinking of actually getting together on a local basis, there is more of a chance to pull this off. There are enough people in CA to do your own thing, maybe in the SF area. While I want to make the drive, (I love the Redwoods, and US 101 would be delightful in a 924, I think the logistics of a Western States meeting would be harder. I am still interested in your ideas.

I found a school buddy in yahoo -who i havnt seen in 23 yrs he still lives in Goldendale you know and any way we could drive to like The Dalles or Hood River,that would be sweet

Hey Guys, if we do Vegas, better make it in the early spring, or late fall. I don't think my 931 will like the summer temps in Vegas.
