Greetings! My name is Lor and I've been reading this board for a day or two now, after the oppertunity to buy my '77 came up. So I did it! Early this morning I hauled my butt out of bed to buy her.

Granted I don't know a whole hell of a lot about cars, after reading about 924's and actually seeing her, I had to do it.

As you can see, she's in rough shape. However, her body is intact and relativly unharmed and just a few months ago she was running. She's got 90k on her and loads of potential.

welcome and you can look forward to learning mechanics and esp electrical, or emptying your wallet to a good mechanic

as per the km, the odometers are known for breaking so you are probably going to find it is dead and has much more than that on it.

after seeing the pics, what did the PO mount for a side mirror on there? its hidious

Nice, clean-looking car, Lor.

Did it have the primered areas on it when you bought it or is that your work?

And the front right trye needs air!

P.S. If you fill in the location in your profile, we'd know where you're from.

Thanks.

Lizard, the odometer is in fact dead, I was actually going by the milage on the title, which was updated in October, but that could also be wrong I spose. No matter, the fact that it's a project car was part of the appeal. I guess I'm a bit of a massochist that way.

Mike, they were primered when I got it. Luckily only one minor ding on the hood needs attention that I can see so far. I'm afraid both front tires need more than air...

Keaton, thanks, I'll remember that if (when) I ever start to get disheartened by it all.
