WHile cleaning the grime off the lenses today I noticed that one of my headlamp reflectors has developed a fair amount of rust sunce I last looked at it.

Is there a cheaper way if fixing it up than buying a whole new headlamp unit? The other one also is starting to go, and they're not that cheap over here new, bout £90 each.

cheers,

j

I think your best bet is to buy replacements. Sorry.

They are the bulbs, not the reflector. I have the Halfords Super Brightness bulbs, about £18 each.

Try franklinhill porsche. It's an ebay shop specializing in 924/944s. I appreciate that a second hand item may not be perfect, but in my experience they're incredibly cheap and worth a look. It's also worth emailing/calling them if they don't have it advertised, I have found parts like this before.

www.porscheshop.co.uk

19,90£ for complete unit (ex VAT)

And, no, it is not only the bulb. Those headlights are the same from the old Volkswagen Golf.
