Hey guys, what brand and model pads do you recommend for a racecar? _________________ 1980 924 Turbo |

| I highly recommend KFP Magnum Gold Pads for racing They are a carbon kelvar pad, that is reasonable on the rotors, low dust, and most importantly, lasts. I purchased mine from Paragon for $120.00 a set. |

Exactly, that's what I've been using since day 1, always been happy with them. Those and ATE Super Blue plus the stainless DOT hoses, you're all set. Well, rebuilding the calipers isn't a bad idea too... and consider the master, it may go eventually (as I think mine finally did)... _________________ Vaughan Scott

| I have to second that. SS brake hoses and rebuild the calipers before they leak. Most people wait for leaks before caliper rebuilds, but you are not optimizing your brakes if you wait for wear parts to go bad before your rebuild/repalce. Brakes are things you want to to have 100% everytime. |

| I like the Porterfield R-4's on my car. They are pricey, dusty and noisy, but they work great both hot and cold! |
