Hi All
If I add or remove washers under the system pressure regulator will this adjust the overall mixture or should I look for another method?
Cheers

No, that'll only increase/decrease system pressure. A:F adjustment is shown near the lower-left here -

You can raise pressure by changing the shim that goes along with
the spring, kind da fuzzy there but thats it.
You adjust the afr by turning the adjuster located on the top of the aluminum cover that the fuel dizzy is mounted on.
Theres a rubber plug in therepull it and use a long torx bit
still fuzzy here though I think counter clock-wise will richen and clock-wise will lean it out. Make adjustments with the car running, turn the
adjster in in small increments then waite to see the effects.
Some say to turn it one way till the motor falls off idle then the other way till the motor falls off idle again then go to the middle and richen it up a little from there. The best way is to go find someplace with a afr tester.
Again more fuzz though I believe the over all mix is set 14.3.
The afr tester is a taill pipe tester that reads the mix. If you do it on your own, running lean will destroy the motor,
richen it up from the middle a bit & if you get black sooty stuff coming out the exhaust lean it out a bit. Again the best bet is a afr tester.
You could be all the wiser and get a afr guage and install it in the exhaust.
afr= air fuel ratio.
Did I do good Smoothie. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na

My Benz has K-Jet and we adjust for 12.8 reading with a wideband sensor for max power at wide open throttle under load.
