K I was looking at my extra bearings & couldnt figure it out.
one bearing has a hole in the center & another bearing doesnt.
Question is: .. . which bearing goes in the rod end & which
bearing bearing goes in the rod cap end. Haynes doesnt tell
me anything. Can some knowledgeable wizard show me the light
at the end of the tunnel.. please.

Not tooo long ago there was a discussion about oil squirters in the rods. If yours has them, you should find a hole drilled in each rod. -So the bearings with the holes should go on the upper rod end and those without go with the caps.
