I know it doesnt help now probably Leigh, but the M030 I see listed in my tech reference book is usable on 83-86 944, the sport suspension listed for 87 and on cars have a different option code being M474,
so according to that book it should work _________________ 3 928s, |

M030 was used as an option all the way through the mid 90s with the late 951 and 968. It may have become an advertising term though, with the actual option code changing, kinda like the name "911", with succesive models being 964/993 etc.
You'll have to be more specific about which M030 setup you're talking about though... In any case, unless I'm gravely mistaken, an 83-85 944 strut assembly should bolt into a 924. I know the lower points of the suspension where changed, when they went to the 944 crossmember, but I believe the spindle was still interchangeable. Don't quote me on that though. _________________ '81 931 in various states of assembly |

well I know that the spindle was interchangeable as well as the strut assembly, and I think that a 944 A-arm MAY even work in a 924 _________________ 3 928s, |

The suspension on of our 924 race cars came off 1983 944. Everthing (including the transmission) fits like plug and play except for the front A arms. Their also inferior than the steel ones on the 924 anyway. Just get a donor car and you'll be fine. _________________ Jeremy "I'm Faster than My Dad" Jadczak
