| hi guys, what air fuel are u turbo guys running with intercooler and boost up to around 15 now but i want to turn up more later. but , i am tryin to get mine all dialed in good and safe, now thats its all done finally. i am. not sure what the a f mxture should be. i know stock is around 14-7-1 or 1 lambda, now i know it needs to be a little richer when the boost is up just not sure now much. How much should be increaced per 1lb of boost?? |

Sorry,but i believe youŽve got it a little sideways.
The 14,7:1 works for low load/coasting.
When on power or acceleration you need to be around 13,1 with an NA car and a tad richer with a boosted one just to play it safe.
IŽd shoot for around 12,8 with a turbo car-no matter the amount of boost.
Variance will be evident and the engine will tell you what it likes.
Reason is simple.
Engines like us are individuals and needs to be catered accordingly to perform their best. |
