Finally got some pics of the new dash from the data acquisition system (MyChron3) installed. There's further refinement to be done, along with more wiring for all the rest of the sensors, but this should give an idea of the final product:

Sorry for the poor-quality pics, but at least they show the thing lit up, with RPM's and shift lights showing...

looks cool. Houston , we have lift off of the GT challenger , who mission will be to boldly go where no 924 has gone before .

I think the sheet metal mount could use some flat black paint .

No, it'll be getting something better/cooler than that. Though it's sheet aluminum on billet aluminum brackets, not quite as low-tech as it looks...

Yes, I do have a little bit of concern about that.

I also need to evaluate with my sunglasses on; I currently drive with polarized sunglasses, and those often wreak havoc with LCD displays. Might have to get a fresh pair made without polarization, as much as I like it.

We'll see.

the way you mounted it , I assume your not permitted to modify the dash . it be nice if you could stack the speedo and gas gauge 1 over the other where the vent is near the door , and mount your new d.a.s where they used to be .or a small dog house on top of the dash ,wih the display pointing straight up and a small mirror , at 45 degrees or so . or if you can ditch the bezel(plastic cones) to push the d.a.s under the dash .

Don't need the speedo or tach anymore, though.

Too much pain and suffering, to do as you describe. What I have now is so much simpler...
