Well, we're up to 33. I'll call Cometic again tomorrow to float the idea of an order of 50, see if that'll rattle their cage at all. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

36 now. Sorry, was too busy with work on Friday, didn't get to make several intended calls. We'll try again on Monday. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Our request for a custom order of 50 units is being presented this morning to their production team. They indicated they would be back in touch with me later today, so I'll post the update as soon as I have it. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Query. . .have you considered the new model, with built-in gas-filled o-ring (Phuzion)? _________________ Toofah King Bad

Suggestion - either start a new thread or rename this one, your hard work is pretty well hidden down here!! _________________ 1994 Lotus Esprit S4 - Work in progress...

Yes, the new model is MLS, so either way, we need a pretty sizable minimum order. First step is to get Cometic to agree to do an order of 50 instead of the usual 100. I don't think they'll care one way or the other if we go with plain old MLS or the newer style. The deciding factor for the group buy, of course, will be price. If we get an affirmative answer, I'll ask the difference in price and put together the formal group buy logistics in a separate thread. Also, just be aware, the pricing may be a bit higher for 50 than for 100... _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

I've called them twice and gotten an evasive answer that they'll need to ask the owner of the company for an exception on the 50 piece run, with a promise to call me back, but no call back yet. I'll call again today. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

tell them that in the long term we will buy more but for the begining we can take about 50 pieces. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits
