Posted a question over on MazdaWorld, and the reply there was that there doesn't seem to be any or much info available on this particular unit, but that it is similar to (and possibly the same as) the Lysholm 1200 AX. Here are the specs for that unit:
Inlet temperature = 20 C
Displacement = 1.2 l/rev (0.0424 CF/rev)
Built in volume ratio = 1.35
Max rpm = 15 000
Max pressure ratio = 2.2

Have you found any information on the size of the crankshaft pulley used in the stock madza set-up? Also have you found any info on the wastegate and are you going to be using it ?

I have a wicked idea about using one of these superchargers on a waterboxer in a vanagon syncro.

No, haven't been able to find the info on the crank pulley, but haven't really tried that hard either. Regarding the wastegate, I have the complete wastegate assembly, which you can see bolted to the top in a couple of the photos in the OP.

From what I understand, this unit can produce 21 psi of boost in stock form, and the wastegate is setup to bleed off so that only 14 psi is produced. The article Roger linked to also has some good add'l info on how this was controlled as well.
