I have a sunroof on my 81 924 Turbo, and I'm wondering if I can get a power sunroof upgrade. Cause right now, I have a manual sunroof, manual as in, stop the car and take her off. No crank or nothin. If anybody knows where I can upgrade that would be really great!!! _________________ Tyler |

yes you can conert to a 944, but that requires HEAVY modding to the roof, I have not looked at the converting myself, but it may require cutting off the top and putting on a 944 top _________________ 3 928s, |

It would be a huge PITA. The power sunroofs often fail. All they do is lift the back of the roof up 2 or 3 inches, not worth the bother.
You can do the same thing with your manual roof, by propping it up using the rear latches. Just install a safety strap so your roof will not blow off when a semi passes you. |
