Back in my race car days-60-70's to repair broken fiberglass bodies I would use strips of aluminum and pop rivets on the outside and reassemble like a jig saw puzzle. Then fiberglass the inside, drill out the rivets to get the aluminum off, then fill the holes and repaint. Worked quite well on our Lotus 23 after various dust ups. Lotus body parts were expensive even then. _________________ Mike
