My Platinum 931 seems to have a bit of gold to it.
Oil coolers on a 924 ae nice even just in hot areas. It is a question of if the expense is worth it, though, to use the proper hoses. That's the major expense; the adapters and cooler are not (if you buy them from Racer Parts Wholesale). Just don't use barbed fittings; threaded only!!!

Texas summers are pretty hot. I am not trying to turn my 924 in to a race car, but I do want to prolong its life and make it run better. Do you think it is worth the trouble/cost to install one on a engine that will most likely remain stock?

No I think if your ported,have header thats not ceramic coated and run an aftermarket ignition with a performance cam with a dial a cam spocket the oil cooler will help keep things cool. Was looken at em today when I bought head parts for the project.
