Is it possible to replace the hose from the filler neck to the tank without dropping the tank? Im working my way around the car i just purchased and developing a punch list. I get a gas smell when tank is full and I also note the tank builds a lot of pressure. Which is probably why the PO removed the gas cap seal that I replaced. I assume that problem is related to a clogged pressure relief valve that I read people use the valve from the Mitsu Montero to replace. Or a jammed charcoal canister.

When people talk about the hoses on the top side of the fuel tank, is it the filler hose and the tank vent hose? Just those 2?
