Parts heaven estimated a PAIR of clean,seats in great condition for $550.00. I don't know what Porsche charges for new, but I know it isn't anywhere NEAR what Parts heaven gave me. Having read all this I now think I am not paying that much for insuring my 924 after all. Last year it was £280 but they put on a 20% increase this year for third party, fire and theft (American cousins please multiply by 1.5 to convert to $). What gets me is the complete lack of explanation or excuse for these outrageous rate increases. My income has not increased 20%. In fact I should be paying less given that I spent another accident free year, no? I can only summise that the fat cats in charge of the insurance companies must have their 20% salary increase.
