Sure. They`re as common here as koalas in gumtrees are in the USA.
Actually a 931 S2 manifold will be much better for this application as it has the large (58mm IIRC) round hole and square bolt pattern. Then you won`t need the adapter and have sufficient room for a bend. Its not a bolt on since the stud hole spacing is different and I understand the ports don`t exactly match. So it requires some port work and drilling/milling of holes. Runner length is no problem and will actually improve torque slightly through the usable midrange.
How thick is that adapter Gav?
Maybe it`s possible to mill the manifold face at an angle to incline the TB so that a bend will fit over the fuel rail. Hood clearance is a big issue but the TB can be rotated (90*) to its lowest edge, that may just fit?
Or of course you can imitate my manifold, hacking out the TB mount area and weld in a larger Aluminium flange, recessed deeper in for additional clearance. Then the TB can be bolted direct, obviously gaining the thickness of the adapter.
Something to think about over the week end. |

Unfortunately, the bolt pattern is much smaller on the Weber than the SII manifold, already checked that. You'd have to have an adapter plate either way, although it could be much smaller with the SII mani. The adapter plate is about 1" thick (from memory) and it is designed to create a smooth transition between the round bore of the TB and the lopsided ovoid audi-style opening on the manifold. Shaving it might muck with the airflow, but I suppose anything is possible... _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Should be a piece of cake to make one from 3/8 or 1/2" ally if its not possible to simply drill and tap 4 holes in the manifold. |

Ok, I checked and I have a series I adapter. It is egg-shaped, not round.
Mea culpa |

Put it on EBay, I got close to $200 for mine when I sold it. Some guy in Denmark must have really wanted it. It almost completely paid for the parts car I pulled it off. _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |
