lol
emoore you rock for spending the bucks on the barrel - glad it works. It really makes sense.
rasta you need to lay off the bong it's affecting your self esteem - and you know Bob Marley sounds like crap when you're bummed.
you should be proud of the battery box air-water setup - it worked and it makes the car go fast and that was the point - plus I suspect based on eyeballing your cooler is a bigger one - bigger is better
I wish Lindsey would post their numbers. Ideola you're too kind to Lindsey, waaay too kind. I phoned those people and emailed and left messages and nobody called back with anything. Not even a 'cool to the touch' reply. So to heck with them.
I might buy one, but not new.
Here's a frosty idea:

Based on their description my gut tells me it is too cheap to be true. _________________ 1980 924 turbo, MSD, Meth. Inj, otherwise stock. |

Yeah, except that it requires a consumable medium. These things are only useful on drag racers. If you were on a road race and your consumable medium ran out, you'd be foobared. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

My setup was easy and didn't disturb any stock parts other than moving the fuel dizzy a tiny bit to driver's left, and shortening up the stock charge tube a bit (which as it happens, was shortened already from the Holbert mods...). Very non-disruptive, very compact, and very effective, as intended.
I know the list price on the setup I have is right around $1k, but they can be had for much less if you know where to look and are patient enough.
Ideola, I'll send you some pickies and you can put them up.
I can offer up a cookbook how-to version of the parts and how to set it up once the pickies are there. It could be done in an afternoon with a few hand tools and a drill. |

| I didn't want to hijack this thread so I posted a PWR installation guide over in 931 tech. Take a look if you're interested in a how-to. |

| That "Ice tube" thing, looks a lot like the PWR but with nothing inside. You need to have a way to get the heat out of the intake charge and there's nothing there. How DOES it transfer the heat from the air to the cooling media? Wishful thinking? If it had a core, I'd believe it, but with nothing inside, its smoke-n-mirrors. |
