Hi Matt,
CVR and Metro member here. Lime Rock is my favorite track for my 924; challenging course with various turns, uphill, down hill, etc. I have been going there for a few years. The town is also great. As for eating, I recommend Three Brother’s Pizza in Amenia, NY, excellent food! Normally, I would be joining you at Lime Rock; however, pressing commitments have precluded me from any track events until the first week of August. I am signed up for four DE track days at MT Tremblant with the Canada PCA and CVR.
I have never been to Mt. Tremblant. Any pointers you care to share?
-Peter
P.S., here is a link to my last event at the “Rock” with CVR. Where were you?

What a great rack, you will love it. When I was running my immensly underpowered 914 1.7, I had a blast pushing the 911's and 944's through corner 1, the carrasel, and Namarow (the Hairpin).
Pointers are mainly the same for any other course of this nature. It is a flowing track, lots of elevation changes. Main thing is to maintain your momentum, and keep it smooth. Other than that, enjoy my home track. When I get a new P-car, I will be going back there!
Here is a link to an in car video of the old course, before they widened it. This is how the track was when I rolled the 914 at the hairpin. Dont ask, the 914's can be put on the roof.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the link to the video. Mt Tremblant looks GREAT! I can't wait to get there. I will be there August 5th through the 8th, and probably the only 924 (Gray, # 156). Mt Tremblant looks more like a technical track rather than a sheer power track like the NASCAR Oval tracks so common here in the East.
Lastly, my fiancée and I (she's my pit crew, cheering squad, voice of reason, etc) are staying in a hotel in the village of Mt Tremblant. Any recommendations for restaurants, places to visit, etc. Just thought I would ask.
Thanks again.

Peter;
Go check out the, I believe they will be host region, Rennsport Region PCA website. It should have a lot of good information there. I am hoping I can get out to an event this year, even if it is to watch. I miss the track.

Enjoy.
