Best tool to use for viewing/searching patents;

http://www.freepatentsonline.com/

after you enter the patent number, it comes up with a summary.

SCROLL DOWN till you see

View Patent Images:

then select "view PDF images"

Interesting patents relating to adjustable cam gears;

6622677 < magnet operated, requires no external connections.

This patent search engine is the equivalent to "Google" on the web.

Check the advance section, and the "spanning of words", ability.

Wow, I just did a search on "adjustable cam gear" and found this thread.

May I say, everything ever posted by ESC944 (and associates/aliases) should be summarily deleted.
