Do you drive with those sandles? As for the interchangable 924 parts (mine's a 77), I am told that most 76-82 parts would be alright. Lizard will be able to tell you for sure, (he's some kind of 924 guru)

There are several companies that sell plastic dash tops, and carpet covers like in the photo you posted. E-bay seems to always have some for sale as well. Going rate seems to be upward of $75 plus a hefty shipping charge. As I understand, just about every early 924 on the road has a cracked dash. I don't think you'll find a decent one in a salvage yard, and I think others on this Board have said that new OEM ones aren't available anymore, at any price.

Performance Products has a 10% sale going on, with free shipping through 15 April. A new dash cap is on my list. Don't think you'll find one cheaper. We all wish ours looked as good as Joe's.

as for the dash question, you can buy a new one through performanceproducts.com, they also have dash covers, but the dashes are the same in the 924 series, from what I have found, but almost every 924 out there has a cracked dash, you can take the dash out and do what joe and others have done which is to dremel/sand the cracks flat and the fill them with fiberglass and cover with bondo. I would recommend foing the fiberglass/bondo idea as you can eliminate that ugly center speaker from the dash, as for buying a new dash they are really expensive in my opnion, if you do with a plastic dash cover they look good but if the dash is warped (which is almost guarenteed) it will not sit 100%, as for exact steps on repairing w/ fiberglass check out joes924racer website

Factory OEM is ridiculous, I will use spit and super glue until I win the power ball. and then!...
Gohim and Lizard are gonna get a job redoing the car to oem perfect and enjoy LA if I have my way.
After they are finished Alex Roy is going to build me a lawn mower out of a cardboard box...LOL...

I got the plastic dash cap, from some company thats on the net and i think they also sell through Performance. the cap is awsome. im pretty picky and it dosnt bug me like that stupid rug did, the color (brown) came out perfect.

....now if i could just make enough money to fix that gigantic DENT in my drivers side door and repaint the side of the car....

Ive made friends with a guy that restores dashes by vaccum moulding them back to original condition. Surely theres someone over your way that can do the same?? i was quoted $NZ450-500.00 ($NZ1.00 = $US0.55)

IF the Momo horn button is 1.5", then one of these should fit: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2408890555&category=34209
