Joe D. Thanks for linking up the rest of the pics for me. You have redeemed yourself!!
I got the side skirts through a supplier in Ontario Canada 'The Toy Store', But I had gotten the desire for them from the Automobile Atlanta cat. They do not come with the tubular vent as pictured, I added those in to match the tubular vent on the rear spoiler. They are not functional as on the air cooled porsches ,but I like them just the same.

Sorry for the color(s) I am painting the car yellow and that is the reason for most of the car being puke yellow. It is high build tintable primer.

The rear valance panel.... I never realized that there were euro bumpers/ non euro bumper style. When I first tried to fit that piece.... %!#@ It was 6' too long. I had to section and shorten it, and fiberglass it all back together. The piece still didn't fit well and I needed to make a fair amount of modifications before things fit as I wanted.
I am still bracing myself for Bad comments.

It is all connected right now. That was the purpose for the 'dummy' block.

ADAM, so your rear valence was originally made to fit the North American bumpers? I've seen these in the Perf Prod catalog, but they say the ones that have integrated rear wheel skirts are for the older models. Later ones like my '81 have to settle for a smaller valance that isn't as attractive. I figure it's because the later models all seem to have rear wheel skirts stock. How much was yours and from where?

Anyone know if the one with skirts will fit mine? Of course I'd have to remove the stock skirts.

I think my rear valance was around $200 cdn. You can get them through Auto Atlanta, But they are a lot of work to make fit the euro bumper style and alot of work to make fit tightly. They come with a black ribbon/gasket that is supposed to fill in the gap between the body and the valance. The problem is there were 1/4-1/2" gaps between the two and they just looked crapy. I spent the time to make the two fit perfectly by adding or grinding fiberglass to the valance. Same applied for the side skirts.

Cbass, I heva to agree.... I find that one a bit too squared off.

Adam, nice job on the bodywork. I can appreciate the amount of time you spend making the FG fit right. I've rarely seen a fiberglass piece, no matter what the price, fit right. Keep us posted. Looks Great!!

ADAM, does that mean you got yours from AA? That works out to under $130 US, which seems like a good deal. Rather not deal with AA after hearing all the experiences here.

Also, I dig the front air dam. Where did you get that? Modded from a 944? How much if bought? Thanks.

ricomartinez,
I don't know the exact price from AA for that piece. My supplier 'The Toy Store' got it from the manufacturer that supplies AA I believe. I recall speaking with AA about the parts a they said they would need to order them from another sorce. I will try and get the address for The Toy Store. As for the 944 front end..... It was a factory 944 urathane lower valance that I bought used. There were a fair bit of modifacations that had to be made to make it fit. I have thought of making molds off of all the finished parts and begin producing the parts if there was a large enough demand for the pieces. It would be a small market, but I could be competive to the U.S. suppliers with the exchange rate in the favor of the U.S. consumers.
