I'm thinking of starting a Pacific North West watercooled club, who'd be interested? There would be no charge, and I'd give better deals on parts.

If we get enough members, we could get affiliated with the PCA, and recieve all sorts of deals.

Excellent... It's all falling into place

I'm thinking the whole 924/944/968 line... we could charge 944 and 968 owners to join.

I would be interested as long as I don't have to race anybody for pink slips or something stupid like that.

Perhaps I can help with some observations. There's already a 924 group affiliated with the PCA, so any follow-up group is unlikely to take over that title, particularly if you aren't yet PCA members. If you are PCA members you already get discounts. If you've sent your information in, you're a member of the PCA 924/931 Register, which is of course officially recognized by PCNA, having already been recognized by PCA. Even if you're not members of PCA, you're likely already to be in the 924.org Register listings (since we've never been picky about that detail). If you're not yet PCA members, I encourage you to join. If you have no intention of joining, don't expect much for recognition from PCA.

Don't interpret any of the above as discouragement, however - I strongly encourage you guys to continue to get active, and get to know eachother - it's so much more fun when you've got people nearby to share the experience with! I'd love to see the Register start to get active with local gatherings, just haven't had time myself to contemplate planning any...

Body Shop Rob and myself are with the PCA here in Seattle. Both his cars and mine are featured at the 924.org. We both want other 924 owners to be active with the PCA as you all know our cars are under represented.
