Yep Euro is also in wembley - I bought my headgasket set there and also my fuelpump, Thermostat and other bits - I found em cheap and good. They also deliever - check there website on http://www.Eurocarparts.com - is better to ring em though - you can D/L a porsche parts catalog on that webpage as well.

What parts do you need ??

Bury I think is north manchester but they ship - and all the stuff i got of Simon was in great condition - and quick.

I'm in Essex (near Harlow), there are quite a few 924's around here I keep seeing them parked and on the road.

For parts I have used the following places :-

Eurocarparts http://www.eurocarparts.com - THey don't seem to know anything about 924's, but the parts are good and cheap.

Porsche Shop :- http://www.porscheshop.co.uk - Good at getting weird parts, but only new. They do some upgrade parts also.

porsch-apart.co.uk :- I have got new and used parts from here, they are excellent, really know what they are talking about, and polite too.

http://www.lodgesports.org.uk :- Very efficient with a large supply of new and used parts. They also seem to know a lot about 924's. They do race them after all !

For repairs that you don't want to attempt yourself try 'Harveys' in Nazeing -Essex, they know loads about 924's (they prepare several for racing) and are reasonably priced.

There are plenty of other places also, but I haven't tried them so can't comment.

Did any of you UK 924 people go to the 924 meeting at Sneterton last year ?, I missed it but if there is a further one then maybe we will meet up ? Keep a watch on http://www.club924.com for information.

Itgland :- Shipping is usually quite reasonable from porsch-apart , I recently ordered a set of 4 16" alloy wheels from them and shipping was only £20 for next day delivery - not bad for quite a bulky item. PorscheShop will send by Royal mail if it is a small item, so it only costs a couple of quid. Anti roll bar from Lodgesports cost about £7 to courier next day. These places are quite legitimate, so checking quality shouldn't be a problem. When you speak to them ask tem what condition the part is in. I asked Porsch-apart what the wheels were like before I got them , and they said 'Average - useable but with a few chips', when I got them they looked pretty well perfect to me

Happy shopping !

I live in Solihull, West Midlands. All of my s/h parts come from Pro9 (www.pro-9.co.uk 01564 785161) just down the road from me - Simon breaks a lot of 924s and a few 944s too. New parts come from Eurocarparts or German & Swedish.
