I got mine from Tweeks, it was about $30. Looks just like the original, except not torn or tattered.

I have a passable one from 1978 that you can have for free. You pay the postage. Where in God's good earth is Twekenham? Sounds like a Harry Potter location. E-mail me outside of the box.

Twickenham is in England. Im guessing most of you are North America based. I have scoured the net for a UK place I can buy the manual from, but no joy, and pelican parts (I think) have an outrageously expensive one.

I took the car out for a work trip yesterday, drove 100 miles, and barrelled down the freeway (highway), the car likes speed, hugs the road much better than the 2001 company Astra (thats a Vauxhall/Opel) I had. It was having real problems starting later though. I think it may be the usual "hot start" problem. Guess whats left of my next paycheck goes on the kit.

What model owners manual are you looking for? I can scan in the manual from my '80 US 931 and email it to you.

I have an '85 924.

I need 924 manual preferably, but I will take what I can get. It will help me to PD (problem determination) my car and see what all the buttons etc are meant to do. I figure they are not doing what they should in my car. I "think" it should have light washers, it certainly has the holes in the bumper, and a switch, but the Haynes manual doesnt say much about the system, so it will be trial and error tracing it (and its motor).

The motor is located near the bottom of the windshield washer resevoir on the inboard side of the tank, if I remember correctly. I bought a used tank for mine last year and it happened to come with the headlight washer motor, too.

I'm installing some headlight washers on my car this summer. Where is the switch located on yours?

my switch is on the centre console, just behind the gear level, with the other 3 buttons (rear wiper, and something that I forgot)

If you need an owners manual and can't seem to find one in England, let me know and we can order you one from over here in America and send it to you. We'll figure out the funding somehow.

Headlight washers?...why that's so Mercedes Benzish. I put a headlight washer pump in my car to provide water injection for turbocharged air cooling. (poor mans' intercooler)

The motor is where you said it was, next to the water bottle. Bit of a pain to get to, as the headlight motor is in the way... All I need to do now, is check its plumbing, and find its socket and thats another fix (yay!)

Smoothie: didn't I tell you? I've pulled a motor from a 500SC and dropped it into the 924. Now I GOTTA' have the washers.

ltg, the owners manual won't give you much information. Just how to change a tire, and what your switches and guages/lights are for. If you are planning on using it for maintenance, it is pretty worthless.
