That is the Fun One '04, right? Since I miss MARRS double, I most likely be in the Fun One. This event's always rain, though. _________________ R.I.P.:a 924 ITA race car |

Yes, that's correct, we had a 924 sweep of the podium!
BTW, I'm suspecting now that my oil leaking issue was simply insufficient breathing capacity of the block... kinked breather hose, perhaps. Though I'm still going to replace the seals. I was also running it up to higher revs longer at Mid-O, due to higher speeds and higher engine speeds (moved the rev limiter up to 6000rpm, rather than 5000 of the previous race weekend and not 6500 as I'd thought)... _________________ Vaughan Scott

Yes, he was there with trans, but schedule changes conspired against us and we did not get to it. Another time. _________________ Vaughan Scott

This is me passing Dan Davis, in the #21 black 924S, around the outside of Madness off the end of the back straight during Sunday's race (about a lap before my clutch gave out):

Yeah baby!
Video now online at:
http://vaughanscott.com/videos.htm
If you want to see the video of the above pass, there's two versions, the short and the long one... long video is 7.3Mb, but shows how the pass developed... _________________ Vaughan Scott

I just checked, and the lap time for Lap #3 (which is shown, in its entirety, in video) is 1:50.486. _________________ Vaughan Scott

I like your video cam angle that shows whole right side window. Shows you how close to an apex/edge. What cars doing (how much passing was done) on the right side.
However, your car seems very squre-like image, like SUV.
How far back did you put your cam? _________________ R.I.P.:a 924 ITA race car |

Heh heh... the camera is mounted on the right rear down-tube, the tube that goes back from the main hoop down to the trunk floor. So yes, you are correct, the camera is behind quite a bit. I also use a fish-eye or bubble-eye lens, to widen the field of view.
This reminds me, I ought to bring the camera and mount to WGI for the enduro!!! _________________ Vaughan Scott
