Jeremy et al, I remember you guys were interested in getting a similar setup to what I have, the Bilstein race units with custom valving to match your setups. The problem was finding a vendor, and while my local shop was great in hooking me up, they didn't seem too interested in mail-ordering for anyone.

My crew chief just got a new suspension for his street car, including custom-valved Bilsteins (not race units, though). The guy he got it from is a Bilstein dealer and apparently is happy to order units for other cars (though he specializes in F-bodies). Let me know if you're looking for the contact info, I'll hunt it down for you.

Heck, I already found his website:
http://stranoparts.com

If you do talk to him, be sure to mention not my name but my crew chief, Gregg Grooters, by way of reference.

I'm continuing, searching his online DB. He's got the street HD rear shocks (as I have on my turbo) listed at about $90USD each, and the fronts for $125. I think these are comparable prices to what I paid from my local Bilstein guy.

Even better! I see he's got the race shocks listed, straight out of the Bilstein Motorsport catalog!

Mind you, anyone looking into this, realize that I'm running a custom setup that is not straight out of the catalog. You'd have to look at my previous posts about shocks for part number and valving info. He does have the AK1130 and AK1131 listed (dedicated 924 Road Race struts, $305 ea), but last I talked to Bilstein Motorsport they were no longer available.

I might give these a call to see what they can do for my Honda Civic. I desperately need to upgrade springs and shocks. Even though stiffer ride is going to make my daily commute in DC a little bit more uncomfortable.....
