G'day all.
I am chasing the decals that go on the side of my '77 Martini commemorative 924. Their factory accessory number was/is 432.
Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? |

I don't know where you can get them, but I believe the Porsche part numbers are 477 853 609 (left) and 477 853 610 (right). You might try the local dealers, but they may have been discontinued. _________________ Jon Furst |

I done the artwork for new decals and even went to the trouble of selecting the vinyl and having a shop make some new ones. Alot cheaper that ordering them. I'll even bet that the part is no longer available.

Thanks, guys.
I'll try the part numbers back through the Melbourne (Australia) dealer, but like you say, I don't like my chances.
Did you do the design electronically Michael? If so would you share it? |

What I did was covered the stripe on the side of the car in masking paper and used a pencil to do a "rubbing" of the old stripes this was enough to get the proper design from the front door back. I never got the front fender stripes.

Thanks.
I don't have the decals at all - Someone's done a respray before I bought the car.
I do know of another one with them on though.

| Hmmmm, I read somewhere that only 3,000 77 special edition martini edition 924`s were made. It may be very difficult to find the stripes you are looking for. I believe someone here was talking about reproducing the stripes for the martini a while ago. Try using the search function through the forums and see what comes up. |

Awhile ago? I talked about it in early 1999.

Thanks I will do a search.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I understood the numbers were 1000 left hand drive and 100 RHD?? |

While I was doing a search for porsche graphics, I came across this....
porsche 924 model history:
http://www.928porsche.net/history924.htm
But they don`t give any numbers on rhd or lhd production. |
