Was informed that my Insurance carrier (Erie) will no longer cover my 944 (just comprehensive- fire, theft) because it is used for racing. I know that I have read or seen (Panorama) a company that specializes in insuring race cars everywhere... garage, on trailer, in paddock, until you pull on the track, where you then have zero coverage. Any help out there?

Insurance? On a race car? Huh?

Actually, stupid as it sounds, mine is covered; my fiance is using it as a 2nd car to get the multi-car discount, so as to make the insurance on her WRX a little more palatable! LOL

I'd say it's time to find a new insurance agent; they sound like the type who'd look forward to raising your rates because they found out you race.
