I have asked Chat GPT for help on putting together a street-able 924 D-Prod'esque car (...it looks SO cool!), but have a question on wheel spacers. The D-Prod had 15x7 wheels, but did they put on spacers to move the wheels out? I looked up the track specs and it looks like the width from a standard 924 increased an inch in the front and a bit over an inch in the back...I assume that is from the wheel width change, but they sure seem to fill out the fender flares nicely.

Ahh...If only Dan were here.
I have a large poster of the D Prod 924 at the Road Atlanta Runoffs when Doc Bundy won. There are very wide add-on flares on both the front and rear. You can see that the wheels extend out to where the stock fender ends but don't go beyond the original bodywork. The flares look like way too much.
FYI I have 7 inch Porsche cookie cutter wheels on my non flared H-Prod 924 with extended wheel studs but only have the stock spacers on the car. There is about another 1/2 of an inch that I could move the wheels out but don't see the need. The car works very well as is: almost zero camber in the rear and 3 1/2 degrees on the front.

Actually the picture on the rear suspension have two thin spacers at the rear

Thanks guys...this gets me closer than I was. In seeing the spacers shown on the picture, they look like each one is slightly narrower than the wheel stud. If I had to guess, they are approximately 3/8" thick...with two, I am at 3/4", but I will make no assumptions.
Once I get the flares on it will be easy to see how much I "want" to put on vs how much I am going to get!
