I Have replaced injection system with Carburetors but having trouble starting the car. I did have it running but just stopped starting. I replaced the ignition coil, spark plugs, checked if there is fuel flowing, checked and there is a spark balanced the carbs, only thing I think to check is piston chamber compression. Any thoughts.

Always the basics first

Since you got this far your idea on compression is a good one. I also realize I am repeating some of the things you did confirm already but this list is a good one for anyone

1) compression

2) Spark ...pull a plug and lay it on the head somewhere. Then crank and see if you see a spark. Even if you do there may still be an issue since its easier to spark poor plugs without being in the cylinder under compression

3) fuel ...spray flammable brake cleaner into carbs while cranking and see if you get starting behavior, pops, etc

Or you can start at 3)

4) Cam timing. Did you skip some teeth?

Thanks Mike, spraying some starter spray into the trumpets my be an option. Will also look into the timing may be out by a tooth ether way. Would there be issue if I removed the ignition control unit. Also if I did remove the ignition control unit would that affect the function of the dash warning lights.

Jesus!

Well unless you replaced the ignition system with some other system, what would do the job of the ignition system? Carbs cant take care of ignition as they obviously have no wires going to them.
Where was the logic in removing the ignition module?

Of course you need the ignition system intact in order to have the car running. Some of the dash functions like the rev counter go trough the igntion control module. If you removed the engine wiring loom, you wont see oil pressure, oil warning light or coolant temperature.
Again, what sends the info from the engine sensors to the dash if you just removed the wires? Carbs?

When doing such mods you should really know what you’re doing..and helps to post pictures of what you have done, as some might catch your mistakes from pictures.

By the way, you posted the same thing 3 times, once in the turbo section and 2 times in the general section.
