Anyone breaking a 924 in USA?
Or has a spare motor thst they can sell the dipstick off?
Tray, a friend from Cali found out someone modified the dipstick on his and ne really needs the original as the modded one is too short and he cant reach it on his supercharged 924 Sebring.

Its been a while since i was excited about this car.
It got dismantled for some body work and ended up receiving a lot more body work and a full body paint job.
Also a brand new engine with new everything.
And today was get the engine back in day.

That is great news! You will be excited soon enough

Just so you know, when I show pictures of a 924 to someone, I pull out my phone and show yours! This very car. The backgrounds, the roads, the mountains, and this car with its stance, wheels, etc

I've been thinking of doing something similar with the engine bay. Already tore out the heavy, half peeling off, insulation on the back wall

Can't wait to see you on the road again in this one!

Going to post this on Insta but as always lets start here. Buddy of mine (best man too) and partner in the 931 journey from the start, added another car to his collection recently. I mentioned it briefly before but kept out the details

Here it is. Stock appearing 924S with 968 Engine in super good condition. Its like having near GTS NA power in a stock appearing 924S
Its not the one on the right , that's the Broadfoot GTR

924S is getting Euro bumpers fitted today and 16" Fuchs are on the way. Then the suspension with light lowering will be in order. Any comments, insights, or suggestions on that subject are appreciated if you have them

Its not so easy to have Fuchs look good on the 924 body but its possible.
I prefer other wheels on the 924 but a very cool combo thst engine in that body.

Did the 928 timing belt, water pump and installed the prototype parts of the EFI kit i’m making for those cars.
Finally kicked the 928 out of the studio so now i can fit new furniture, continue with the 924 and use the space for the kits making/packaging.

I was racing a 6 cyl Mercedes Benz some years back and wanted to upgrade the crank fire. The Benz had 3 pins on its flywheel for the electronic pickup. I had a machinist install 35 pins on the front pulley for a better system with an aftermarket crank fire system. After bolting it all together I couldn't get any spark from the system. It took several days before I figured out that the machinist had installed stainless steel pins in the pulley and they did not excite the magnetic pickup . I removed it and had the machinist install regular pins and all worked well after that.
I like the trigger wheel that you put on the front of the 928.

Fifty I am sorry I am laughing at that story too funny. At least time has past. He tried too hard to make it nice for you

Morghen why is it you have the best on-the-road pics and now how you store and work on your car? The whole vibe is just coolness

And my problem is the opposite. I like working on all my projects but seem to not want to drive them, which of course is not true. Certainly seems that way though

I should be visiting the above 924S and Broadfoot car in a few months from now so that will be fun.

The 82 is really close and I hope it pushes the other one I really want to test

Looking forward to your pics. There are never enough of them
