I see Dansk makes a fuel tank for the 2.0L 924. However, no turbo application is available.
I don't know enough about the platform to understand the differences between an early N/A 2.0L fuel tank and a 2.0L Turbo tank.
There's no way to make this work for "us?' _________________ 996 Turbo ('04)

The early 924 N/A fuel tank were a bit different.
As far as I know, the late 924 N/A, 924 turbo, 924S, and early 944 are all the same.
And yes, the late 924 fuel tank would fit the early cars. They had a different fuel pick up bowl. _________________ 1976 924 N/A ROW SOLD

I have a '77 NA and need to do the fuel tank. If I use one of these new Dansk repro tanks, what all will I need to do this? Obviously, I will need the screw in filter with the hose connection, but will I need a different gauge sending unit? I thought the early sending units used a screw on locking ring and the later ones used regular screws. Will I need a new one that uses the screws?
Also, I will definitely want to change the filler hose and whatever breather hoses that are trapped between the tank and the body since it is out. Are there any problems finding any of those or are they just generic? The car smells of gas somewhat inside and I get a blast every time I make a hard left turn.
Thanks! _________________ 1977 Martini 924, 1985 Mercedes 300SD, 1956 Austin-Healey 100 |

If you are smelling gas, it's probably a cracked and leaking vent hose on the top of the tank. _________________ 1979 924 NA race car
