I am just wondering where these wires and connections go and what they do if you can help that would be appreciated.

Top pic looks to be one end of the earth(ground) strap between engine and body, one end to coil mounting bracket, other to engine lifting bracket bolt,
Second pic, top item looks non OE?, lower item WUR or CSV?
