Only 600 of the initial & unique "Introductory Model" 924 Turbo's were made and brought into the USA in 1980. Mine is #201 or #202 of the 600, they started at #93A015000 or 5001.

As seen in brochure below, all were Diamond Metallic Silver on top, Dolomite Gray on lower half, NACA vent on hood, special vents in front, special spoiler front and rear, power windows and outside mirrors, Pascha interior, ABS 4-lug wheels and A/C. Some (many?) had the M471 Sport pkg. with rear disc brakes, 16" 5-lug wheels and more.

See THREE QUESTIONS below this pics:




How many of these "Introductory Model" s are still on the road?

How many here have this car?

How many of these had the M471 package? 5-lug 16" wheel in center of lower pic. Some say most of them....?

Somewhere I remember seeing list of all 924's made, but lost it.

Anyone have that?
