I disassembled the electric motor 4 months ago and I can't remember how the wires were tied. I put the white thread down (its shape indicates that it was taken out of there) the thinnest thread with a slipper can only enter the middle. My question is on which screw do the 2 thick black wires attach?
One of the black wires is very thick - the second a little thinner.
On the internet I found that both thick black wires are placed on the top screw. It's correct?

Regarding vacuum lines.
It is not clear to me either from the technical diagram - or from a picture with the 1980 porsche 924 turbo engine:
Where does the Check valve connect to?
On the one hand we have:
Vacuum unit Throttle body
Vacuum unit Distributor
After check valve???
A picture of that area would be very helpful.

An intake digital pressure gauge was mounted on my engine on the fork leading to check valve. (which I am very happy with and I want to keep it).
At this time check valve is in the glove compartment. (the hose now leads to digital pressure gauge)
I see 2 solutions:
1. I buy a branch with 4 outlets and I leave the intake pressure measuring device and put back Check valve. (I don't know to what extent it will correctly indicate the intake pressure because Check valve will vents to atmosphere)
2. I leave the vacuum installation as it is now: (without Check valve)
-Throttle body
-Distributor
-digital pressure gauge
What problems could occur because check valve is missing? _________________ 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo (931) diamond silver metallic/helios blue metallic

I have completed the overhaul of the engine, the turbo system for some time. The car pulls well from almost all positions. I have covered over 1000 km since then.
I also replaced the gas pump; new hoses, copper pipes to the gasoline system, new injector valvs, etc.
The only thing I'm not 100% satisfied with is idling.
I also beautified the engine compartment a bit.

Glad you have enjoyed the car, double check all the vacuum hoses once again, and the control pressure if you have the possibility to mesure it. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

Can you beleive this is my old ratty 931?
This car has literally been reborn.
What a story this car has…initially sold in Frankfurt, imported to UK in the 90s.
Used as a track car, lightly crashed and abandoned in the early 2000s.
Bought by Woolie, repaired enough to be driveable in 2014.
Then imported to Romania by me in 2015, futher repaired and sorted out…it made it trough a 5000Km trip from Romania to UK(Silverstone) and back…and finally bought by Silviu (Motanul) and completely reatored.
I have driven the car last september and it drives beautifully.
Good job Silviu! I hope you will enjoy that car for many many years _________________ https://www.the924.com |

One of the reasons I took the car was its well-documented history.
The second argument was obvious that it was bought from the person who knows Porsche 924 best in Romania. _________________ 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo (931) diamond silver metallic/helios blue metallic

I double check all the vacuum hoses - no leaks.
I intend to check Auxiliary air regulator. It is possible not to work properly (to much air bypass the throttle).
Something is wrong for sure. RPM changes a little on its own without going through any adjustments (when the engine is hot). The Turbo Boost Gauge shows a fluctuation in air pressure even when the engine is hot.
Both should not have changed at all. _________________ 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo (931) diamond silver metallic/helios blue metallic
