Very cool stuff, what a time to be a creative mind..what a time.
I’ve already spoken with Cedric about this technique and i used it to reinforce some prototypes for my supercharger kit.

I certainly plan to do more stuff with this technique.

I want to do something topology opmtimazed because i have learnt that in formula student, i could do uprights and hubs but i dont have access or skills on lathe, but maybe in couple years

I would not trust anything that is hand made and not over-engineered on functions that are safety relevant..nomatter how good the topology optimization algorithm is...thats not the weak point, the weak point is in the inconsistency in the production process and this composite material is sensitive to process parameters...unlike a solid piece of steel or forged aluminium with some holes drilled in it.

Yes these things can work incredibly well...but their benefit is usually just weight....and our 924 is not going anywhere that fast that it needs this kind of tech on it.

So...very very cool stuff as a study and self education..but a risk in real world if done by hand..and no real benefit for the 924.
