Correct once I get moving I never have to use 1st gear. In fact my GT replica has enough low down torque to pull off from the lights in 2nd, so I rarely use 1st unless doing a hill start, trying to blow some one off at the lights or starting on the race track. _________________ Remember a Porsche is not just for Christmas,

I agree with not using 1st gear much. Especially here on the Canadian prairies. I just point and go. There are not too many turns on our highways.
Thanks for the advise on the turn signal. You all just saved me a lot of time. |
