|
|
Car will be used mostly for street, with some occasional spirited driving. Might try beginner hpde. Stock wheels are 15x6. I don't want to change wheels out. Which of these tires would work best for my needs?
1. Pirelli Cinturato P1 Verde, Summer Performance.
2. Momo Outrun M20, Summer Performance.
3.Goodyear Eagle Sport GT, All Season, Performance.
All tires are: 195/65R15, this is what is recommended on tire site. Sounds correct?
Thx.

Hiw many threads do you need to discuss tyres? Ita better to keep it to one thread instead
A quick search on tyre rack found (only locked at at least half sporty tyres)
Yokohama v701 or kumho ps31 in 205/55 R15, which should be petty close fitment wise.
These are as close to the diameter as possible since you seem to want that(though a bit smaller) , even though 205s on 6inch wide wheels arent optimal for track. I've driven the ps31 on a fox mustang and they where pretty good, not super sharp but fairly grippy. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

I found a set of four new Kumho Ecsta PS31 tires in size 205 55 r15 for $379.00. Is this a good deal? Current tires on car are Hankook Ventus Rs3 size 225/45zr15. They look ridiculous. The look too small, too low profile for wheels and car. Too much fender gap. Would these Kumhos in 205 55 r15 look better, balanced? When I look on tire rack they recommend size: 195 / 65r15. Just that there is pretty much hardly anything in this size. ger. |

Old thread, but for anyone interested, Yokohama Advan Fleva V701 205/55-15 on my car, little lower profile than stock, nice grip, have autocrossed with them, happy with the tire. _________________ 88 924S
