I have rebuilt my fuel distributor for my 1981 924 2.0 NA. I have followed several you tube and written instructions. Because I had to rebuild a core from a used parts house (ruined original). I had to remove and change out the flow adjusters for each of the 4 fuel lines. The rebuild videos show how to remove the flow adjustors for each cylinder. It says to screw them down and back out 1-1/2 turns as an initial setting. I got it running but poorly. I did count the turns from my old Fuel Dist. and record them.

I think from what I read that you want the same flow from each line. The original was turned out more than 1-1/2 turns but not equal turns. Is there an article or video or instruction on how to adjust for even flow and what that flow should be. Appreciate any help.

i would worry less about even flow and make sure you get the base running correct. what i do is pull an injector and jumper the pump to run continuously the i adjust the 3mm mixture adjustment with the air flap at rest until it just starts to trickle of the injectors then i do a full turn lean so that the injectors see no fuel until vacuum lifts the plunger. this should get your car running roughly and allow you to adjust richer until it idles smoothly. then you can do road tests or dyno to get driveability perfect. this is assuming everything else is correct. timing, control pressures, compression etc. also as you must tune your system with the o2 sensor disconnected or it the frequency valve will fight your tuning and make it impossible. you may find that your car runs the best with it disconnected all the time.
