I have only seen Porsche 911 and VW rods made like this.
It may balance the rods better, more weight towards the middle and in a flat engine access doesn't matter, you have to remove the cylinders and split the case anyway.

Hi Safe,

It appears screws are fitted from the middle of the rods. I think mespiecesuato gave you news by mail about these rods, no?
From them, estimated weight was about 570g without the screws.

I have not received any emails from mespiecesauto, I have checked the spam-folder too.
Have the rods been test fitted to an engine?
