im ok over here, just drove my 77 20 miles to work and back in a huge snowstorm. pretty much the only car on the road. im always amazed at how well they do in snow with proper tires. i recently got covid and recovered although i still cant really taste or smell. the nice mochaschwartz 79 i bought a few weeks ago will probably keep me sane for the next few months. swapping my 931 drivetrain into it. freshly rebuilt turbo engine, ported flow benched head done by a local flow artist named dan steinhardt. nice lsd equipped g31 gearbox. cant wait! _________________ ive saved alot of 924's

Cheers everyone
Doing fine here
Finally build that engine and turbo last summer, it's in the car but everything need to be connected to it. Can't wait for the warm weather to come back and finish installing this engine and try it. _________________ 1976 924 N/A ROW SOLD

Still riding out the winter test season (headed to Yuma tomorrow for a couple more weeks). The 931 Microsquirt conversion, my COVID project, was running wonderfully by the fall, but the motor needs a re-ring. Awaiting word on availability of new rings, was hoping to knock that out in the spring quickly before race season starts but it's looking iffy, admittedly. That's the big remaining thing the car needs before I start commuting the hell out of it.
But racecar comes first, first race is early at end of April in PA (Pitt Race), and then a busy season, hoping to have the #77 924 out a few times as well, wrapping up at the end of the season (end of Sept) in Indy with the P2 at the SCCA Runoffs... _________________ Vaughan Scott

you can send a piston directly to deves rings in nevada. they made me a completly one off set of rings for a old cortina engine i built with modified ring lands. it was only about 150 bucks for the set of four. deves rings are very nice and seal up well. that engine had no noticeable blow by within a few hours of running. _________________ ive saved alot of 924's
