Hey crowd, I am looking for replacement clips for early model ,aluminum rear emblem. It is "PORSCHE 924" script. Originally it was held in place with small, white plastic, barrel style clips. PET catalogue does not even list part numbers. I am wondering if anybody has a solution for attaching it other then gluing it in place ,which I do not really want to do.

Would the metal clips from the front badge work? Theres two types, a plastic grommet and a metal version. Both available new from Porsche.

Unfortunately pins on the front badge are way larger diameter then rear ones. They won't work.

Could you possibly substitute generic type speed nuts or possibly vacuum port caps to capture and hold the pins? Perhaps use a dab of silicone on the speed nuts or vacuum caps to secure them as well?
