|
|
All the flexible joints on the steel fuel lines going to or leaving the fuel distributor are in shreds, including the 4 injector lines. Does anybody out there offering a rebuilding service for this well known issue? _________________ Jim

You’ll find the rubber outers have perished but the inners will be just fine. _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

Maybe but since I am doing a complete engine overhaul I want to do it right the first time.
Thanks for your reply. _________________ Jim

Yes, the inner plastic lasts forever. |

I got mine from http://www.unobtaniumsupply.com/
The stuff is called Cohline..
I have some stock left of the large feed from tank line in regular black and the medium return to tank line in braided stainless (so I don't melt mine again) I would like to pass on so if you want it let me know..
If you want all of your lines rebuilt or whatever I think you can get it all in regular black cohline, with or without the outer protection sleeves you are probably finding all split and cracked, or all of it in braided stainless..
If you don't want to do it and are looking for someone to rebuild the lines for you maybe I would do it..
You can get an idea of what the stainless line looks like in the blue link in my signature just below.. _________________ 80 Turbo - Slightly Modified |

Thank you for the reply. Its all the lines attached to the fuel distributor, after the filter to the beginning but not including the body mounted return.
Not sure what I am going to do yet.
