It was a crisp 67 degress here in Va Beach yesterday so I finally got a chance to get the sill decals on.

Here's a look...

Pretty snazzy....

They look nice, but they're not factory pieces, are they?

Nope.

Got em from Paul on ebay. Same guy that sold me the side body decals.

(I've got some for the 924 as well but that car has been stripped of all decals, moldings, etc awaiting paint).

Incidentally, on the 82 924, I'm not going to replace the rear "924" decal but instead I am going to use one of the older "924" emblems.

I saw some nice polished aluminum ones on ebay at one time. I would prefer these over the decals....main reason being that I would be afraid of scratching up the decals.

Just out of curiosity, how many people still have these decals? I believe they started showing up in '80. Both my 924 and turbo still have the original factory pieces. Anyone else?

Yes, and for free. Let me explain.

The first sets that were sent to me contained decals for the driver side only (both decals are identical).

This means that I have a set of factory defects for both a 924 and a 924S. In order to use them, you would have to trim the ends (for example, you could simple square the end of the decal and they would work fine). I have seen these on cars with a square end and they still look nice.

If anyone would like to have them, just let me know.

No problem, you want the 924S decals right? Just drop me an email when you get the chance.

Anyone want the 924 set?

My old 81N/A didn't have them but my turbo still has the factory pieces. IMO They look a lot better than the after market ones.
