i have a 944 with a knacked engine, ive been offered a 20v turbo engined golf that is rotton but engine good. ive been told that the engines to fit into a 944.
ino there is probably loads of treads about this but unable to find and step by step guides.
any help would be grateful

| I'm assuming you mean 1.8t. The Golf engine is a no go in the 944 |

| You're welcome. I have a 1.8t in my 924 but it's from a Passat. The Golf has a front oil pump which sits right where the crossmember is. Even with the correct engine code 1.8t it is an awful lot of work to make this happen. |
